After searching around for a high quality 8+1" dedicated front fill box, I discovered the only way I was going to get something with a good balance of price and power handling was to roll my own.
These boxes consist of a single B&C 8MD51 neo LF, and an 18Sound ND1070 HF mounted on a b&C ME20 horn.
The cabinets are constructed from 1/2" Baltic birch plywood with aluminum trimmed front edges and painted with duratex paint.
Connections are via a pair of Nl4 connectors on the back.
These boxes are built with extremely high quality components and built to endure heavy usage.
Asking $400 for the pair + shipping. This is less than the cost of the drivers alone, which are all in like new condition.
