The building that houses LuLu was, in the early 1970s Studio Instrument Rentals and their rehearsal studios.Right across Folsom Street was Columbia Records SF Studios, later David Rubinson's Automatt and upstairs in that building was the original home of Francis Ford Coppola's Zoetrope Studios.I spent a LOT of time on that block in those days.
