Seems to me they'd want to make it appear as if they had more by lighting the clips lights with a higher amount of distortion. Of course, I still haven't received confirmation that they in fact do that with their amps. Interestingly, their manuals say nothing about clip lights lighting 3dB below actual clip. So that whole article is suspect since they say "check your manual to be sure."Greg
