Anolog snake with 2 Behringer X32?

Hello everyone,

Ok....so heres what we have going on. We are about to dive into purchasing 2 Behringer X32. One for monitor the other for FOH. We currently have a Whirlwind 32x8 anolog snake. I'm new to all this digital console stuff so forgive me if the questions I ask sound stupid. Anyway, can I connect my anolog snake to the monitor x32 and then from the monitor x32 to the FOH x32 via cat cable??? Is it possible? Would each x32 be able to be controlled individualy without affecting settings on either end? The purpose for this is to implement what we have right now until we save up enough $$ to get two of ths S16 digital snakes. Any advise and suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks

Yep, defiantly doable esp. with the V2 update. just use the preamps page to set gains and use the digital trims for fine adjustment on each console then adjusting gains will not affect the other console.

While it is possible, what would that do for you? Your monitor desk is already on the side of the stage. Why have a big analog snake to go 20 feet?

Just use subsnakes to go from the monitor desk to the inputs and call it a day.
