Re: Any Dealers Carrying Both Peavey & Behringer Here?

Thanks for the PM, Mike. I'll get with you in the next few days.

I'm still looking for a Peavey IPR2 7500.

Peavey has very stringent requirements for being a dealer - I doubt if Mike could qualify or give low prices if he did. And he's better set up than most anyone here. Look on fleaBay for "or best offer" - that's how I got the best price on my 1600's, just over 15% off MAP with free shipping:
Peavey IPR2 7500 Power Amplifier 3 750 Watt per Channel IPR Amp SEALED New | eBay
Offer them $600 and see what their counteroffer is :)~:-)~.

Not meaning to sidetrack Gary's thread, but since you brought it up, Peavey's dealer requirements are pretty much in line with most of the brands I carry. I have met with their rep at the shows. I may someday add them to the list, but I usually make that decision based on some compelling product innovation or to go along with one of my regular customers deciding to make a system change.

Interesting, I've been told different - that their minimum yearly purchases were high and they really get pissy about anyone selling under MAP. Also at one point you had to have a storefront? Rumor is Northern Sound and Light had to drop them because of all that.

I'd think enough folks are looking for the IPR amps that it would be worth your while if the requirements aren't that onerous? I do agree that the rest of their live sound products are "meh" at best - OK but not the best for the $$$.
