Tell them that you would be happy to license your name to them for some really absurd amount of money.
If there really is someone there who wants to use it that bad, they will pay... then who goes home laughing? You do.
Like TJ said, it isn't like your US customers are going to really care that much that there is some company in China using your name.
Tell them to go ahead and register those domain names for the other company and send you $100,000 for each one they register.
Who couldn't use an extra $600,000? I know I could. ;-)
