Re: assistanceaudio.cn, which side is working me harder?

There are lot of companies who just buy domain names with the intention of selling them for a profit.  One of them is called New Ventures LLC.  They buy up essentially every domain just after it expires.  If an original owner wants to renew it after that period, they'll sell it back at an enourmous rate (high hundreds to thousands).

Right now there are a few domains I'm personally interested in, but companies are holding them for sale.  The top asking price for a domain name I want is $4700!  Not worth it at all.

Right now, assistanceaudio.cn is being held by them in 'bad faith'.  ICANN regulates domain names; I'm not sure on this, but I think you can file a complaint with them.  In reality if you wanted that domain it would probably end up costing you thousands in legal fees, and you may have a hard time if you don't actually own a trademark for 'Assistance Audio.'
