The stand-alone software for Venue 3 can now be downloaded from AVID's website.

Again, all mac-whiners should fire up their virtual machines or boot camp, it's Windoze XP/7-only.

I will be really surprised if AVID EVER releases a Mac-native standalone app, given the Venue's strong Windows Embedded ties. My guess is that they'll wait until they replace the Venue line.
