Awww shoot

Re: Awww shoot

I don't even get what is supposed to be the problem here?? If the wheel has fallen off, that is a ten second fix. If the wheel-bearings or the hub is broken, that isn't obvious from the picture.

Re: Awww shoot

I suggest replacing the wheel bearings (that's what I've been doing). I bought replacement bearings on eBay... seemingly reasonably priced and abundant (also look for go-cart wheel bearings).

I have an approx. 30 year old hand truck... looks very similar to your's, except mine is yellow. Judging by the design, the tire type, etc... of your existing hand truck, in my experience, you may be hard pressed to source as good of quality hand truck buying new. Likely a new one for <$100 will have cheesier... well... pretty much everything: Tires, innertubes, bearings, wheels (that crack seemingly easily), axel welded on in the wrong spot, clips holding the wheels on rather than cotter pins, etc...

I have approx. 18 hand trucks (most are in daily service). It seems like my best ones are my oldest ones... except for my two Magliners. I have one Magliner that's approx. 25 years old and one that's a couple years old and the quality seems to be consistant there.
