BCF2000 as fader wing to X32 scene recall noise. I am playing around with using a BCF2000 as a fader wing to an X32 and it works great except for one thing. When I recall a scene that has the faders on the BCF2000 all the way down it SMACKS the faders to that position. I capitalized it to stress that it is a loud physical noise as the faders hit the bottom of their travel. I tried doing it in 2 steps, the first taking the fader down to –95 and the next taking it down to –100. It is not as noisy but it is still noisy. I tried putting a piece of gaffers tape across the bottom to block the fader movement and that helps but not as much as I would like. And I am not sure if I would be hurting the motors to block them that way. I am testing if this will work for musical theater use so there are times when I will be recalling scenes where it will be quit in the room and I can’t be making excessive noise. It would be great if I could change the speed that the faders move. When the X-Touch comes out I hope it doesn’t have this problem and is as easy to use and setup at the BCF2000. If it does it should make a great fader wing for the X32. I am also playing with a scene management program called Palladium and it makes dealing with theater scenes so much easier.
