Re: Behringer iNUKE NU6000 amplifier FYI a NU6000 appears to be two bridged NU3000's in one chassis. Some real measurements that a German magazine did measured: Peak power 20ms/1000Hz 8 Ohm 2x465 4 Ohm 2x870 2 Ohm 2x1700 RMS (sine wave) 8 Ohm 2x312 4 Ohm 2x600 (2x375 after 3 seconds) 2 Ohm 2x1176 (2x750 after 1 second, protect after 5 seconds) This implies that the NU6000 puts out 1200 w/ch into 8 ohms and 2352 w/ch into 4 ohms. I own a NU3000 that I use bridged into a pair of Danley TH-Mini's and unbridged to drive a pair of 4 ohm folded horns I have. Driving the latter which have 800w drivers I often have the clip limiters flashing pretty good :D but the amp only does 600w into each so no prob. I try to take it easier with the Mini's as they are only rated at 700w and I'm feeding them 1176w each :) .
