Greetings,
I have a dilemma...I have a total 4 Behringer S16s- 2 board side (Master) and 2 stage side (Slave), using them as a stand alone operation. I have 2 ADA8000s to link from the S16s board side into the A&H analog board. And I am cascading both sets of S16s. I have run into a problem though. Initially I was getting a hiss out of the S16s but we were able to to eliminate that through increasing the individual gain on the S16s stage side and using the Pad/Line switch (thanks to the advice from fellow sound gurus).
However, even though the first 16 channels on the S16 stage side work great, I cannot adjust the gain or phantom power on the second S16 stage side. Basically meaning I can't get anything out of channels 17+. The moment the S16 (Master) board side is turned off I can make adjustments fine but once both sides are turned on and synced I cannot adjust the second S16 (the settings remain -2.5 for gain on all the channels and I cannot access phantom power). Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!
