I'm tired of dealing with cheap 1/4" TRS to 1/8" TRS headphone adapter/extension cables for our wired IEMs. I would like to to create my own pro quality cables but I can't easily find a heavy duty 1/8" female TRS cable mount jack/connector. Does anyone have a good model/source?

Thank you,

Jeff

Switchcraft makes them now - they even have locking versions that use the same thread as a Sennheiser Evolution beltpack. 35LJNAUS is the part number for the locking version, which is 100% compatible with non-locking plugs.

EDIT: this is the "small" (S) hole version - they also make a shell that will take heavier cable.

I was looking for good quality 1/4" TRS male to 1/8" TRS female cables for the same reason and wasn't too happy with the very limited selection. Our band ended up with the JamHub Headphone Extension kit, which includes five 20' cables. My church has been using the same cable set for a couple of years. Have had zero problems. I'm having problems accessing JamHub's website from my location, so here's a link from MF: JamHub Headphone Extension 5-Pack | Musician's Friend

Thanks Scott, this is exactly what I needed. I may order some of the plugs as well and put them on the IEMs to make it rock solid.
