When you come up with a budget, do you take into account life expectancy of the purchase? Ease of use? Resale value? Do you factor in potential new clients that you may gain by purchasing higher quality (more expensive) equipment?I'm curious because I see a lot of threads that are "best x for $y" and don't understand them. None of my gear purchases have been made based on how much money I have available. That is what banks and lines of credit are for. Money is so cheap right now it should not be the impediment to growth.
