Doing a quick search turned up very little on modular bnc connectors suitable for homebrew adaptors (like the neutrik xlr barrel assemblies).

Is there anything out there for an 'off the shelf' solution for pads and other adapters? Or are we stuck with using cable assemblies?

Re: BNC aseemblies

I have the Thomas and Betts Snap-N-Seal coaxial cable crimper set. Most of the time you see cable TV guys using these, but they make any end you want - BNC, RCA, F, etc, and they make them all for every type of coax you want.

They are very fast and very reliable, though they can be pretty pricey.

Edit: I don't think you're looking for cable ends as much as you're looking for something a little different...sorry if I'm off topic.
