Buried!

Re: Buried!

I could finally see the lawn late last week and it was in the low 50's.
Overnight we had 17 inches, today's low is in the single digits.

Hopefully less than a month of this snow nonsense left.

Similar story here. My car is usually in an underground lot, but I had it out on the street last night and was BURIED. I used a FX rack lid as a shovel to get the snowbank down a bit and let the AWD do the rest. I'm taking advantage of it and going skiing tomorrow, but I'm ready for spring too.

Re: Buried!

My Jeep has a folding shovel and the trailer has two full shovels, but my Subaru spends most of its life indoors and out of trouble. I had a nice folding shovel in the trunk when I first got the car but I donated it my fathers snowmobile after getting seriously stuck. I went to buy one this year and all I could find was plastic junk. The car has a plastic storage bin in the spare tire that works as an excellent shovel, but the rack lid was the easiest object I could find. I bet I could have gunned it without shoveling, but shoveling snow from under a stuck car is WAY more work than getting it out of the way in the first place.
