The 21421 in particular is designed for two folding leg mic stands.

I own the larger 6-stand bag (which you can stuff a couple extra short stands in, for a total of 8), and it has worked out fine. Materials and workmanship are top notch (as I would expect from K+M). The only downside was that it was a special order item, and I had to wait a while for it.
