+1, Too much buzzing and feedback. And that's the least of their issues. It seems as if all broadcast events recently have been mixed off of some sort of tin can.
I believe the issue was comb filtering. They had dual capsules on the main mic, one hidden behind the other if you look closely. It seems they were both live which would be a bad thing. The closer people spoke, the worse it sounded.
A bit ironic for a program of awards which include the pinnacle of technical achievements, as well as the artistic ones, to have bush league audio quality.
