If you suddenly found yourself in the marked for a used analog console and had to choose between a XL-4 or a H3k, which one would you choose, and why?

H3K. I love the XL4, but the chances of you keeping an H3K running are much higher IMHO.

Well my personal experience is about 20 to 1 in favor of the H3K, but please put a note reminding me that Q is the outer ring and the bell gets wider clockwise somewhere near the tops of the channels so I can see it.
For some reason, in the heat of battle, I am never really as sure as I want to be.

I like the XL4 more, but the H3K is going to be way more reliable and easier to get parts for.

My heart says XL4, my brain says H3k. My ears say either one. A better business case and more flexible choice would be the H3k. But I'd probably end up choosing the XL4 for the same reason that I'd rather drive a 57' Chevy Bel Air than my wife's Toyota Matrix........
The H3k is your best bet on this one I think.
