I'm looking to purchase a multi-handset cordless phone system for my church. It seems the market is favoring DECT 6.0 devices.

- I'm looking to avoid WiFi bands.
- I don't need much range, real world 60' indoors is fine.
- I'm looking for about 5-6 handsets.
- I don't need voice mail
- We currently don't have any wireless com but are considering Riedel Accrobat.

Does any one have brands/models/technologies they either like or that I should avoid?

It's in the 900MHz band, and coverage is excellent. The handsets are designed for real use (drop tested, etc.), they come with belt pouches, spare batteries, and charging bases. You can transfer calls amongst handsets, broadcast page to all handsets, etc.

Maybe more than you're looking for, but it is another option.
