Crest cc 5500? Real world use.

I know a few people that where thinking about buying these, just wondering if anyone has used these amps and what there thoughts are.

My main use would be on low end, 1 amp bridged on a double 18, but any comments would be help full on this amp.

I just read an article or post or something recently (bench test?) where the CC line didn't fare so well, especially for subs.

heres a 4000 Prosound Network: Crest Audio CC4000 Power Amplifier which i use on versarray subs and have yet to ever have issues.
