Hi guys,
Hoping someone here might have the answer to this, and yes I asked this in the 'other' place too.
I've just received a bunch of multipin connectors from Ten47 along with the appropriate crimp tool and locator turret.
As you can see from the pics below, it's a little ambiguous as to what setting to use on the tool. The tool itself says
20 AWG - Sel no 4
22 AWG - Sel no 3
24 AWG - Sel no 2
But the pin locator turret says
20 AWG - Sel no 5
(and extrapolating; 22-4, 24-3)
Turret has part numbers for Veam pins which don't line up with Ten47's part numbers for pins.
Does anyone actually *know* what setting I'm supposed to use?
And yes, I can ask supplier, however I'd like to get a start on terminating these this weekend, as I have some time. Supplier is Scotland, and I'm in Australia, which means I won't have answer until Tuesday at earliest (or overnight monday).
Here's a bunch of pics showing reason for my confusion.
Oh, and if it's helpful, Radial Engineering use the Ten47 Tourline connectors for their custom shop stuff.
Cheers!
[edit: have no idea why the pictures are upside down - assuming they are for everyone - happened on other forum too, but when clicked on they are right way up... maybe it's a mac thing]
