Damping Factor - Actual listening tests?

Re: Damping Factor - Actual listening tests?

Bennett figured it out and wrote about it:

Long cable runs with low impedance loads make the lack of damping factor noticeable, increasing power does not fix the problem.
using a wheatstone bridge with a .2 ohm resistor in series with the Amp to speaker connection to feed an op amp that corrects for the back EMF gives the best results.

How great to see a post eliciting such enthusiastic response here - it's just like asking 'Which oil' on an aircooled VW forum! Interesting that there seem to have been few if any who have done 'Actual listening tests' when it is so simple to try! ;)
