I have an Avalon VT747SP Stereo Comp patched to I/O 7 and 8 on my local FOH Rack. I have that inserted on my main L and R send that feeds 6 matrix outputs (L, R Sub, FF, DLY L, DLY R). When I increase or decrease the output gain on the compressor the signal on the Main L and R Bus increase and decrease as it should, but the matrix sends that are derived from the L and R send do not change. The matrix are set up post fader and increase and decrease with the main L and R fader, but are uneffected by the insert.
To test this a little further I assigned all my inputs to a stereo group, then fed all the matrix sends from that group, when I insert the avalon compressor on that group and adjust the output gain it tracks as I would assume increase the output and all the matrix tracks increase.
Any idea on how to get this working correctly? Is it something simple I am missing.
