We can't afford a monitor board and don't have labor to run it. Aviom and the like aren't free from problems either. Our biggest issue is wanting compression for FOH but not wanting it in the monitors - my one M7 wishlist item is being able to put the aux sends pre-dynamics. Other than that, we're perfectly happy with our setup.It's a very different situation when you have semi-regular bands with ear experience than a one-off live gig with 40,000 expectations a minute.
