Re: Digital Signage+1 ... I am in the middle of an installation this week that involves 9 of the new BrightSign XD1230 units, which we added the wiFi cards to when they arrived. While they are rock solid, once you get up and running, the WiFi setup process can be a bit involved. Issues we have run into so far have been with getting the wifi communication happening with the heavy security that our iT dept. has going on with our networks. After most of the afternoon with iT, they ended up having to call over to BrightSign to get some answers.... hopefully will have this sorted by tomorrow afternoon. This is our first time needing to use the WiFi connection on the new 1230's ... the older BrightSign models we have and the 1230's we have used in hardwired setups have been flawless. Absolutely the pro-choice if you need longevity and reliability in an installation.
