Hey guys, I found a auction on e bay and i was shocked at the price of this item and i was just wondering if this place is a legit place to buy from. it is TMS AUDIO DISTRIBUTION , I checked the web and it does have a website out , but i just dont know , I am really skeptical about buying some things on ebay because of things that have happened , but its a really great deal that i might buy and i just didnt want to lose my money if i ordered. so if anyone has ordered or even heard of the place thats all i need to know but if you have had experience with them if anything bad please tell thanks GOD bless.

As a frequent eBay buyer I'm not very impressed with the guy's feedback score or feedback comments or the fact that this is the third username he's had since 2010. I don't know that you'd lose money, but it's possible you won't get what you thought you were getting.

The feedback score I see is 99.1% possitive with over 3000 transactions...
How would that be considered not impressive?

6 negatives in the last 12 months, 3 in the last 6 months, over twice as many neutrals in those same time frames.
I've sold enough on eBay to know buyers can often be buttheads, but selling on eBay is not so involved that you should upset 1% of your buyers that easily.
By the way, I regularly buy from an eBay used item clearing house with over 60k and 99.9% in feedback. For used items at 10x the rate TMS does with new items. It's not that hard.

With what appears to be a high volume dealer, I would consider those numbers pretty damn good.
I would like to only piss off 6-people out of 694 sales.
To each there own I guess, I wouldnt hesitate to do business with them if I needed something.

I was looking for auction sellers, not storefronts.
I'm with Milt, any seller who changes names more than once, any seller with recent negative or "neutral" feedback is a red flag for me. Negatives from by-gone days... not so much. But read the comments by purchasers who've left less that positive feedback and see if they're the dummies or the seller is having problems.
And any seller can have temporary problems... the shipping girl quit or they fired the warehouse picker, or the web guru is on holiday and orders got misrouted...
But read for yourself, Jimmy, and remember "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is...."

yeah thats my initial thought as well, I went online and e mailed him about the item that i was interested in and he said he had 11 in stock and after those are gone then thats it.

Although I've not been active on ebay over the last year, I"ve bought and sold more things than I could list over the last 15 years. I always look at feedback scores etc... This looks legit to me. Even the most recent, Sept 6, was apparently a delay in shipping something. The seller apparently got with the buyer and worked things out because the buyer updated the feedback and said they appreciated the seller sorting things out.
Looks fine to me.

~:-D~:grin: yeah, I get that! I just tell folks it's the American inability to pronounce properly spelled German names (it's pronounced like "lease"). Probably due to the fact that English is such a hash of inconsistencies (is "F" spelled "F" or is it "ph" or something else???)....and that's probably why English is so flexible ( the more flexible the thing, the less absolute are it's rules).
