Hi all. Novice level audio person so if I've made any errors in where I've posted or anything just let me know!

So a group that I work with is setting up a podcast with up to 6 channels for mics/guests with a mix-minus for skype calls. Sessions would be recorded onto Mac via DAW/recording program. I would ideally like to record to seperate channels for both safety and ability to use effects on an individual's channel.

We currently have four mics, a turntable running to a Behringer x32 Producer, monitor out to a presonus hp60 and usb running to a mac. But we're thinking the behringer might be overkill. It's a matter of some of the other projects we're doing (A/V production studio) we'd love a less expensive option that opens our budget to be able to do other things. So if we could replace the behringer with say a more inexpensive option it'd help. But I can't find a solution that meets our needs completely. At this point something like an Allen and Heath 10 channel board and then just not worry about multitrack recording for now. But I thought I would see if anyone knows of anything that's under $600 that works just as well.

I'll give more specifics if needed.

Thanks.
