Evan Ver 2.1

Re: Evan Ver 2.1

6 sb218s and 8 Arcs plus infills for 5-700 people was quite a lot of PA I thought, especially when I was right behind it doing monitors when it was bouncing along more or less flat out.( must make sure of cardiod processing if I do that again) The wee guy in the photo belonged to one of the organisers and was really funny dancing to and shouting at the the performers. Nah, Evan is a L'Acoustics Poo pooer. You should have Photoshopped the picture with some d&b infrasubs. Then again the SB218 was never a great sub. The SB28 is much better.

I know that, but trust me in the situation that festival was in beggars can't be choosers. Most of the acts were accoustic or light on the bass end anyway and didn't really trouble the subs much, besides which we Old World types don't have such a sub fetish as you colonials seem to. Happy 4th July:)) G

Re: Evan Ver 2.1

Now the subs of which Phil and Jay speak are of European manufacture and are relatively controlled and don't just make shockwaves, and if I were to ever need something of that power then a weeks holiday touring through central Europe with a stop off in the hills of Slovenia would be high on the agenda. However the big brutes that the maniac Californian with a rat tattoo blew us all into the next time zone with, you can keep, too big and too heavy and need way too much power. G
