Im looking at front load
60x40 horn
3 tops per side is what im building but also a second 15 alone to add underneath for bigger venues and outdoors..
I figured 6x15/side should be enough to keep up with 3 2446..
I currently have some rebuilt rcf 15s out of some older elites...1000s probably but they were reconed
I was looming at the fane and precision device as a local dealer offered me a reasonable price for 6..
..never used either before
WHen you said 3 horns per side-my "natural" reaction was to assume you would simply be facing them all forward (as most people do) which is a bad idea.Hi ivan..sorry for the confusion
3 tops per side with one 15 and 1 jbl2446...each top can mate with 2 single 18 cabinets.
I can add a second 15 mid cab and 18 cab when needed so if for instance of a outdoor event of 3000 people then one stack will consist of ...
3x18
2x15
1x2446
I will create 6 of these stacks..I have enough (almost) for 4
What do you suggest for 2446 horns with 3 per side angled at a 180 degree curve if not 60 degree...maybe I am wrong??
Also have 8 jbl 2241 which are fresh recones tuned for 40hz..this way they wont blow up if outdoors as a hot 35hz may do
How does outdoors "suck the bass"?Ivan
Reconed...thats all
Cabinet tuned to 40hz...not 35hz
Outdoors sucks the bass out compared to indoors. ..hense one may try to boost the bottom end and then
KABOOM●●●
Thats all I meant
