It can be fixed.i think you could (but not with FIR filters) correct for the non linear compression of the air in a compression driver which will cause some 2nd harmonic distortion ..... But 2nd harmonic distortion tends to be masked some what and is not as noticeable as higher order distortion or sub harmonics.
