Had a fire performance act as the last entry on an eight-act, ten-hour festival day. Two guys with safety blankets standing by. Glad it wasn't under my COI.

As cool at it is when teenagers play around with fire, I will go to great lengths to prevent them from doing it on "my" stage.

Wow. That brings back an old memory.
Back in about 1975 or 76 a cardboard box warehouse on the north side of downtown Minneapolis caught fire. It burned for hours sending endless showers of sparks over quite an area, almost as good as 4th of July fireworks. Hundreds of people headed there to get a better look.
My banjo players brother (an actor in a local improvisational troop) could not resist. He jumped the barricade, spun around a few times for effect, then shouted, "THEATER!!!!"........having waited his entire life to yell theater at a crowded fire.
I swear this is true.
