FOH System Tech Racks

Hello All,

I am looking for some ideas on a new FOH system tech rack/workbox for larger shows.

Basic requirements
- Flip top (with at least (1) external display mounted to the lid of the workbox)
- At least 10RU of rack space for system drive and measurement rig
- (1) Mac Mini in 1RU chassis
- (1) QSC QSYS Core510i 2RU
- (1) Roland Octacapture 1RU
- (1) Lectrosonics TM400 1RU
- (1) Cisco SG550X 24P 1RU
- (1) Mikrotik RB3011 1RU
- (1) I/O Panel 3RU
- A couple drawers in the bottom for measurement mics, FOH tech goodies, etc

I am leaning towards something like a guitar workbox, but I would like to keep it down to a single rack width if possible.

The other option is to buy a flight top rack and put rack mounted drawers in the bottom of it, but I was trying to avoid this route as the drawers never seem to hold up in the long run.

Is the flip-top just for the monitor and keyboard? If so, you might consider a rackmount KVM (e.g. https://www.tripplite.com/products/rack-mount-desktop-kvm-switches~14?2027=Rack LCD Console (No KVM) )

Just buy quality drawers. They make some pretty heavy duty ones. If you use the rear support brackets I would assume these would be pretty solid. I have seen several other Middle Atlantic ones lock up though.
