So a few weeks ago I discovered Four Audio. They make some really high end stuff including robotics for measuring speakers. Then a few days ago a writeup on their new HD2 processor appeared on SoundForums.net. Seems like a very sophisticated piece of hardware. If I'm reading this correctly, it sounds as though the HD2 will create the appropriate FIR filters for you, according to test signals that you feed it from a reference mic. Am I reading this correctly?

Also - are press releases like this intended to be an introduction of a brand to a new market, like the US?
