This week I saw 2 very interesting shows. The first was on the PBS show " History Detectives".It told the story about how the Fender Strat Bob Dylan played at the Newport Folk Festival surfaced almost 45 years later and how the HD's verified that it was the same guitar.FYI Dylan was booed off the stage by the purist Folkie's at Newport. The other show was "Sunday Morning" on CBS. It told the story how Peter Frampton thought his 70's Les Paul was destoyed in a plane crash in South America. It was actually pulled from the reckage and purchased by someone who returned the guitar to him recently. Frampton is a very humble guy ( from Humble Pie) who talked about his success and failures. Both show were very interesting and if you didn't see them, hopefully you get watch them to durring reruns or on the web.
