SORRY FOR DUPLICATE POST,
I'm selling a pair of Peavey QWMR speakers. (yes two right boxes)
These boxes have been modified as followed -
1) Crossovers have been removed
2) Drivers have been hardwired to NL4 connectors
3) The woofers have new baskets (genuine peavey replacement part used)
4) Horns have new drivers (genuine peavey replacement part used)
5) Grill's have been powder coated black
Logos have been removed.
These really are Excellent cabinets, tons of power and headroom. You must run them biamped now as there is no passive crossover anymore. I use them for front of house and wedges and they work excellent at both applications.
I picked these up from a client who had rented them to someone, the rental customer totally blew up the speakers and skipped town after returning them blown without paying for repairs. I took them and replaced the woofer baskets and horn drivers and removed the damaged crossovers. They look better with the grilles powder coated black, probably even better if you take some foam and line the grilles with.
$1000 for the pair - which includes custom cloud 9 fully enclosed soft cases, local pickup from the NY/NJ tristate area only please, Speakers are in used but good condition.
I'm also selling -
2) Yamaha CM10V with cloud 9 fully enclosed covers - $350 for the pair excellent condition , all logos removed
6) Yamaha CM12V Wedges all with fully enclosed cloud 9 cases , $250 each or $1400 for whole lot of 6, excellent condition all logos removed
