Just picked up my (new to me) Silver 2010, double cab, 4WD, TRD Off Road, with tow package, Toyota Tacoma. Had just shy of 11,000 miles on it. Wife likes it, daughter (7 years old) went crazy over it.
When we got to the stealership yesterday, my wife saw a silver Crew Max Tundra sitting right out front and said, "Oh my god, is that it? It's huge!". I said, "no, ours is over here..." Her reply was "oh, it looked bigger in the pictures online..." I'm not sure if she was relieved or disappointed.
I got raped financially, but it got me out of my 2000 Buick Lesabre that had 232,000 miles on it, and was turning into a financial black hole. I plan on keeping this truck for at least 10 years and putting at least 300,000 miles on it.
Going to install my HAM radio on Monday.
