I see the comments are gone and there's not much description with the video. The back story-
A couple of years ago, DigiDesign was offering a "trade in" program (they had a version of it recently, too). Trade in any reasonably functional (well, the lights should come on) large frame console for a discount on a VENUE system. It turns out they didn't want the trade in shipped to Daly City, they just wanted proof it was forever out of circulation.
Logic Systems of St. Louis wanted to take advantage of this trade deal and had their buddies at Cignal and Bad Dog produce this video to submit to DigiDesign. Logic owner Chip Self is the guy in the lift basket, trying to suppress a smile at 2:02. Being the boss, he got to give the DDA it's final push. Kind of surprised I didn't see Doug Fowler lurking in the background...
And yeah, it was a little sad, watching the DDA hit the ground. I remember when that was a very good desk. Time waits for no man, or console, either.
