I just setup at a gig.. Generator 25kw set to single phase to my motionlabs 3 phase panel with metering. I fired up the gene and my panel... It's showing 118-120v on red and black, and 60.1hz. Now this is where the fun begins. I plugged in my ups for my digital console and the hz reading on the motion labs goes anywhere from 60 to as much as 150hz! Voltage is stabe, voltage showing on ups is fine, analog voltage meter on gene is rock solid, no motor fluctuation either... Solid. I'm trying to figure out if my motion labs display is having issues or what. I have a guy I trust coming out early tomorrow am to check everything over, and he has a fluke to measure hz. Anybody have any suggestions... Btw it's not just the ups, throwing it into a tizzy, as some as I start to apply load, the hz swings wildly.. But no motor revving on the geny Any ideas?
