On Aug 12 and the 13th for the peak of the Perseids meteor shower.

It the biggest one of the year. Until we go through the tail of the new comet Ison (at the end of this year) then watch all heck break loose. more to come about this!!!

You can view an occasional fire ball now or just wait for the peak nights ..... Last year it was rain and overcast for me. :evil:

Some friends of mine are camping out in NH to watch it, unfortunately the wife and I have other plans but we'll catch some of it since we'll be out in the country. Always a good show, but nothing yet has compared to when Hale-Bopp hung out in the night sky when I was a kid.

PS: Shouldn't this topic really be in a stage and lighting forum? Ultimate pyro installation and all that.
