I have heard it will have an IPad app. I think PC control is less clear.

From memory, the iPad app will be very similar to the existing iLive iPad app, and coming very soon. I'll bug our rep tomorrow for more info.

i spent a minute or 2 on one. seemed nice, but im not yet in the market for something. a rep said that ipad control will take a bit more time, perhaps up to a year, as the brain is in the surface, not the rack. ilive-t is still what im hot for

Michael Palmer, US Sales Manager of A&H does an overview on the desk at Sweetwater:

Not a ton of new information. He mentions "Based on the latest quad-core technology" which was interesting - Intel based rather than embedded FPGA?
The A&H site posted beta firmware 1.0E on April 5th, so hopefully we're getting close to release.

GLD version 1.00 (non-beta) was posted today. Supposedly the first shipment goes out in the next week or two.

I'm pretty sure yours will beat mine. Due to logistical nonsense beyond my (or my dealer's) control, my system has to visit about 32 states on the way from headquarters to my doorstep. I'll be lucky to get it next Friday.

We bought 5 digital mixers ranging from 32 inputs to 96 inputs. AMS can cancel the request I made for an iLive demo unit in 2009.

I'm not sure of the details of your particular situation, but it never ceases to amaze me at how hard I sometimes have to work to give a company my money.

Mine is due to be here on Monday April 23rd but I heard the AR84 expander won't be here at the same time. First I heard June on that but my Rep is doing everything he can to get it here about two weeks later. We'll see!

Yep - I heard that too. I heard late May. That won't goof me up too much, now that the base system is enroute.

I saw that on A&H's Facebook page. They didn't lose any GLD surfaces, but lost a bunch of 2412 racks and a bunch of Zed stuff. That's a bummer.

The latest version as of yesterday is 1.00. I'm very confident A&H were waiting on this before shipping the hardware. Like most new products, I'm sure there will be a flurry of updates the first year or so, so you should keep an eye on the A&H website.

I picked up my GLD-80 this morning here in Ottawa Canada with the AR2412 this morning.
