Well folks looks like im deploying in 3 months, about a year sooner then scheduled. Means ill be home a year sooner so its all good.

Im looking for options/opinions on what do do with my gear while im gone. I could put it in a storage unit or my parents house, these two seem the safest really. Or I could leave it with a few guys I work with and Have money coming in while im gone. One venue I regularly work at and trust wants my GB8-48 as their monitor console and it would fall under their insurance etc from what they say. IDK what would you guys do? If I do leave it with people to be worked for the year while im one, how to I protect my ass other than basic insurance? What kind of contracts would need to be written up? Any suggestions would be cool just looking to make a smart move here.

I would work out a deal with a buddy I trust, And let him rent out the goodies (for a pre set price), store it, maintain etc. Make it generous enough he is exited about it and can/will take care of the gear. Get a lawer or Para-legal to write up tany contract. I would cut him in on the Club console deal just so he could keep an eye on it.

Thanks Gus, thats kinda what Im thinking, My biggest concern is something happening and im not even in country for a year. I will get in contact with some some buddies, the club and a lawyer and work something out.

If you write up your contract properly, if something happens it's not your problem. Anything is better than your investment gathering dust.

Thanks Bennett, I couldnt agree more. Id love to keep it working and keep my company growing. Its actually about time to put another person on payroll anyways. Bit much to do with Just me or one other person and myself.
