GPA prediction software

I have downloaded the GPA software and it seems very cool. I am not one who has ever played with prediction software (outside of the Vertec and EAW line array calculators). It doesn't seem that there is a help file or a getting started file with it. I don't even rally know where to start. Does anyone know where I can find some information on using this program?

Hi. We are preparing a series of video-tutorials about GPA. I´ll keep you informed.
Meanwhile, please try to discover the use for your self. Our goal always has been to develop a intuitive and simple tool.

The details seem to be that guy doesn't know what he's doing. In his miraculously excellent cross-fired arrangement he's placed the two horns essentially inside of each other... impossible in the real world. He's done something similar in the 45° splayed plots as well. If we could put multiple devices in the same physical space we could solve a lot of problems, including probably poverty and hunger.

Hey guys,
although GPA is a fine piece of kit, I think it probably uses point source modelling or at best simple directional modelling, when to truly understand interactions between sources needs Complex directional point source modelling, Like the GLL's in ease, or FChart for instance.

Ferrit,

Do you know of any modeling tools that take into account varying acoustic impedance for boxes at different places in an array? The only place I have ever seen it even mentioned is in Martin's white paper on their steering technology, which I'm sure they had to account for in such a complex system.

Hey Bennett,
AFAIK the gll viewer from ease (free) uses a CDPS model supplied by the manufacturer as does FChart (EAW internal) not sure about MAPP (they won't give me a password gofigya!)
M-A's software uses a model incorporating multiple Complex data, isolated, postional and flanked. This model is based on accurate measurements (not easy to do) so it doesn't transfer to other boxes.

This is amazing for us in Gpa. SAT-LIVE team have decided to make GPA as an option to install when installing Sat-Live. Best regards to Tom... thanks very much, as we know and respect Sat-Live a lot as one of the most important FFT analysis tools today.

The only thing I couldn't understand clearly was the new name of the product!

I guess part of it is understanding where he is going. If you don't understand what he is doing, I guess it could be a bit harder.
