One of the volunteer crew at a music festival last night. He started out bringing everything we DIDN'T ask for to the truck, spent about 5 minutes slumped over a monitor wedge on the floor muttering something, and eventually ended up like this for about a half hour. He was still like this when I left. It was probably for the best really that he quit halfway through, lol. (face obscured to protect the innocent)

I was on a load in once when one of the temp-agency guys told the TD that "he had to go outside and smoke a rock". Needless to say, he didn't finish the rest of load in with us....

The worst part was it wasn't a college show. It was a town's annual music festival and the guy was like 45 years old, lol!
Fortunately I had one of my new trainees out on this gig who was in significantly better shape to get the rig down and out.
