Great Transaction with Hal Harrison

After purchasing a piece of gear from Hal Harrison on here I wanted to tell a bit of the story. As we negotiated a price for the piece of the gear and fair shipping terms the item was promptly taken to a shipping terminal same day and sent out to me. Only a few days later did I accept the shipment and took possession of the piece of gear. Things were great with the item for a few hours, but it developed a slight issue. Could have been due to shipping jarring it around as the dock workers played demo derby with it, or a million other possibilities. After one call to him I immediately felt at ease, he was not aware of any issues with it but had a genuine concern for my satisfaction. At this point I could have been chalked off as, "as is where is" deal with it buddy "buyer beware". But this is not how he reacted, he told me he would make things right, and he sure did. After taking it to a local dealer for service he respectfully followed up and made the necessary arrangements to return the item to 100% perfect condition. He is one stand up guy and I feel something needed to be said on here to let others know that he is a great sound professional to do business with!

Re: Transaction with Hal Harrison

this is a bit pedantic i suppose, but i have to admit that when i saw the thread title i assumed this was going to be a 'problem' transaction. i did take the time to read the OP and now know that Mr. Harrison is clearly a very stand up guy. That being said, if the OP could maybe put a qualifier like 'Great Transaction with Hal Harrison' in the thread title, it might prevent anyone from assuming the worst without reading the best, particularly with Hal's name right in the title.

or not. i admit i'm being nitpicky. :)

And kudos both to Mr. Harrison for being a 'good guy' and to Mr. Petrusky for taking the time to give credit where credit was due....

Same here Brian... I thought the same originally and clicked to see what this was about because I have had a good transaction with Hal also.

EDIT: Brain/Brian...whats the difference?? :)
