Has anyone measured the real amperage draw of the Powered VRX?

Re: Has anyone measured the real amperage draw of the Powered VRX?

JBL's website says they require 6 amps, but they don't state how that measurement is made. Just looking for some real world data here, that says, "mine draw X amps at a rock show". Doesn't have to be too scientific....

Thanks

edit: I'm only interested in the VRX932LAP tops here, to clarify.

My rule of thumb with active speakers is that the line current draw is usually 1/4 of the wattage of the entire speaker.

Bad English, didn't know how to word this one - I hope you understand.

It's not a lot. I've run four and two of the powered 18" subs into limit off a 20a breaker, all. damn. night.

Cool. This reinforces what I believed to be the case.

With what program material? Pushed how hard?

Typical church P&W band that wants to be a rock band. 400 waterbags, 3 vrx a side, flown, Add cheese, hold the onion.
