I have a club install and to give you an idea of the gear / format it's 2, tx-4s over 2 tx-9's per side. Bi-amp martin wedges, Midas Venice 32. Etc etc. Fri and sat bands, same band, a club act playing covers to a 350 cap room. There is a house tech, who is a freelance tech hired by the club. I asked him if there was anything he wanted to add this year and he mentioned he'd like some new cond mics for hat / overheads. Any suggestions for this kind of environment? I was thinking " top of my price range" being 2 maybe 3 sen 614's, but is there anything more affordable, better sounding, rugged etc... Currently installed was a couple apex cond mics ~ $80 each Thx
