Heil Sound a+ service / support

I am just finishing an email exchange with a Jerry Lynch over at Heil Sound. I have a out of box failure of a PR35 that is brand new, but it has been on the shelf in my shop for a year and has now fallen out of warranty. I emailed them this morning, explaining my situation, and they are taking care of it under warranty, no questions. What an awesome display of customer service, especially in the age of disappointing experiences. Can't say enough good things about the product,(I personally use a PR35 in my own band) and now their customer service.

I purchased a PR35 for a gig last weekend and I liked the mic a lot - substantially better than a 58. However, the case SUCKS!!!!! It's unnecessarily huge, the zipper constantly jams, and the cloth strip to help get the mic out ripped out the first time I pulled it. I may call Heil about that, but I'm not sure I want another case - I'll probably just put it in a 58-style bag.
