Re: Help building mid-sized systemWhile the PMP1680S has a stereo pre-amplifier "MAIN" output, it does not appear that using this interrupts the signal from the mixer to the internal amplifier. At any rate the manual does not indicate that it does so. If that is the case, then you can use it to drive a subwoofer amp after going through a crossover to filter out the high frequency, but there is not a way that I can see to highpass the signal going to your tops if you are using the built in amp to power them. It would be better to have 2 external amps and a crossover for your mains and subs, then just use the PMP1680S for the mixer and maybe to power stage monitors.
