Does anyone know what size battery goes in the Master Section of a Heritage 3000? I'm not doing surgery until I'm actually ready to change it. The voltage was a bit low last time I was in there cleaning and the console is not remembering anything if it hasn't been on for a while. I tried calling Midas Las Vegas, but they have yet to return my call. Thanks!

It is a PCB through hole 3.6V NiMh battery. There is plenty of room on PCB for virtually any battery, just fasten it down with some hot glue. I just finisher repairing a H3K and it had an ancient "Varta" inside.

Interesting. That's the same battery that Studer used in their A810/A820 tape recorders. After 20+ years, they're all due for replacement too.
